ETHAN A. SUKONIK, admitted to practice law in the State of New York, joined Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C. in 2021 as an associate. Ethan was born in Brooklyn, New York, attended Bard College as an undergraduate, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School. While at Cornell Law School, Ethan served as a Notes Editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Dispute Resolution Practicum and Campus Mediation Practicum. Ethan was also a recipient of the Harold Oaklander Public Interest Fellowship and demonstrated a passion for helping people in need obtain legal services.

Prior to joining Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C., Ethan practiced corporate law at a firm in Midtown Manhattan, and real estate law, with a focus on commercial and high-end residential properties, at a boutique Long Island firm. Ethan's practice is concentrated on real estate transactions, condominium and cooperative law, and corporate law. Ethan, a Long Island native, has spent his whole life in New York, from the South Shore to the Hudson Valley and the Finger Lakes. He currently resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife. Ethan is a regular at the Metropolitan Opera, and is an avid hockey fan, supporting the New York Rangers and Cornell Big Red.
